Z6 and Y8... Wheres the diff?
I have a Z6 motor I am putting a Crower Y8 cam in.
I have heard that there is 5 degrees timing differnece when you swap cams between the 2....
SO!
To bring the cam into time, What STOCK honda gear brings it into time?
I have seen that if you compare the stock z6 and y8 gear, the keyway on one lines up with a high on the sprokey and on the other gear the keyway lines up with a low, resulting in 5degrees of difference.
so with my Y8 cam, do I need the Y8 gear to bring the cam into time, or do I put the Z6 gear on the cam.
Thanx!
Adam
