I have a 94 Civic Ex 2 door 5 speed (Stock)

I'm currently shopping around for motors, and so far i've got the most information I need from the forum...

I am just wondering about this engine?

1. What does it come out of stock?
2. Will I need to do any special wiring to get it in my civic?
3. Will it go with the tranny I currently have?

</TD></TR></TABLE>No u need a B-series tranny

 

I think that b16(92-95 sir) is out of an EG6(DOHC VTEC civic hatch in japan). Since your car is an EX it should already have VTEC and you shouldn't need to do any wiring. Yea like rleonekc said you will need a B series tranny. IMO buy a complete swap, it'll save you some headache. Also check out the thread about swaps at the top of this forum.
