Default QUICK REDLINE @ 3,000 RPM????????????????????????????????????????

I WAS WONDERING WHY MY CAR AFTER DRIVING FOR A WHILE, AND IT HEATS UP LIKE NORMAL 1/2 WAY, THE CAR BOGS DOWN AND THEN IF YOU GIVE IT GAS , IT WOULD ONLY GO UP TO 3,000 RPM, LIKE IF IT WAS TO HAVE 2-STEP OR SOMETHING???????????????????

sounds like you may have a bad ecu.

any codes? last time i had that happened my ect sensor was messed up i replaced it and it revd to 8k

check your plugs and wires first, but if thats not it i had a buddy with the same prob. turned out he had a bad ecu.

but if i put a po6 ecu it goes away, but i dont think my ecu is bad because it was running perfectly fine, and it is also chipped so it was running fine when it was done, now it is acting retarded

you fried your chip. mine only revs to 4000 after i erased my chip. either that or check the chip to make sure that it is securely in place, sometimes they can get knocked loose and it will run funny

It probably won't set a code. Hondas are known to have huge problems with there spark systems. Check the coil, cap and rotor, wires, and plugs before going into any thing else.

mind did this like 3 months ago..... it was my distro. cap was cracked. get a new distro cap and router button .. might as well new plugs and wires too

the check engine light is on, but its been on ever since i did the swap 3 months ago and it is the o2 sensor, but how do you take it off limp mode

fix the O2 sensor and reset the ecu and... presto, your'e out of limp mode!

Dude, did you just say a different ecu makes it run right? Umm, if thats the case, I'm going to go ahead and make a bold move here: its your ecu. Yes, it may have worked before, most items that go bad did in fact work at one point.

Yeah, ****, even those ebay turbo kits work at one point .

See if you can use chrome or something and reload the .bin file of the P06 ECU. If not...then maybe it's time for another one.
