I've probably put 50k miles on mine since I noticed the oil in the spark plug chamber last year. I'm using about a quart every 3-5k miles. Engine has 200k+ miles on it, still getting 35mpg though...

You don't need a new valve cover, you could get a new valve cover gasket but all you need to do is replace the tube seals. Just take off the valve cover and pull out the old ones and push in the new ones it'll take 10 mins.

H-T pulls through occasionally...

Without H-T my car would be non-existant.

After you replace your valve cover gasket and your 4 spark plug tube seals if you still are gettin oil in cylinder #2 spark plug tube then id recommend you have your pedistal o-rings replaced oil may be leaking in the tubes thru the valve trane .. oil in spark plug tubes = ruined spark plug wires ... also will cause carbon tracking of the spark plugs = Misfire

if your talking about the O rings at the bottom of the spark plug tube then im with ya on that one.. iv had two engines leak from there.. you can usually see oil leaking on the top if its the seals up there. but those are easy to fix.. you shouldnt need a manual to replace that. just take the valve cover off and replace teh gaskets.
