Default Time for an engine rebuild - what seals should i get

Puttin new piston rings. wondering what specific seals i should get to go along with it. Only the neccesary ones.

And what about main bearings. I been driving with blowby for a year so gas was often in the crank...

OEM for everything if possible. OEM is recommended for stock pistons. Or if your running aftermarket pistons, then use their recommended rings.

Get an OEM Top end AND Bottom end gasket set from Honda. Order the same bearing codes based upon the markings on the crank, rods, block (see your service manual for clarification).

Your repair manual will tell you what the bare essentials are. Anything past that is on you. A basic rule of thumb is, if you take it apart replace the gasket/seal...read your repair manual to find exceptions.

Ok, slow down for a second and think about this. Do you think it'd be a good idea to replace the rear and main seal while you have the engine apart just to be on the safe side? The diagrams in a repair manual will tell you what gaskets/seals need to be replaced. This is the common sense part, man.
