I was wondering if the shifter and linkage cable from a 4th gen vtec lude will fit/work in a 5th gen lude. I am planning on doing a auto-->manual later on and just getting the parts right now. Thanks in advance.

 

I've heard it won't work, so just to be safe, get one from a 5th Gen.

 

so i guess since im doing a swap into a 4th gen lude and have the shifter cables from a 5th gen it wont work...haha damn maybe we can swap

you'd be better off buying a new one anyways, cause if you get a used one, you risk on that one snapping. I've had it happen to me before..For some playa prices on OEM Honda parts, contact this guy mnhondaparts@gmail.com and his name is Mike. He works for Honda up in MN in the parts department, so he can defenitly hook you up. Just tell him Brian sent ya, and he'll know exactly who you're talking about
