Brake Pad?
I am looking for a new set of front pads for my daily driver, 1996 civic hatch with type r 5 lug. What would be a good set that would take some abuse, not be noisy or dust like a **** and work well in the cold?
Mods if this is in the wrong section feel free to move. I figured I would get the best responses in this section.

lemme guess, you want them to be cheap too!!
there are trade offs for performance pads.. what are you plans for the car.. auto-x, HPDEs? that will help.. but just about any "track" pad will dust or not work well cold(will work, just not well)..

Nah don't really want them to be cheap. I don't have any plans for the car besides driving it to and from work and beating on it on all the back roads. I already have a car I drag race and that sucks me dry enough. The pads that are on there now seem to fade after a short period of time and I am just looking for something better. I have no clue about what brake pads are decent for the street and which ones are not.

I ran these for autox and on the street. I liked the bite, and they didn't make any noise, but they dusted a LOT, IMO.

My wheels are ugly, and painted flat black, so I don't notice LOL

I love the Cobalt Friction GT Sport pads which I'm using on my ITR (year-round daily driver and sometimes track car) and NSX (mostly track use). Have a nice aggressive bite to them, don't need a lot of warmup, hardly make any noise, stand up to track use. Highly recommended.
They dust, but all pads dust, in my experience, and the GT Sports don't dust any more than most other pads. If the amount of dusting is really important to you, then the stock ITR pads might be a better bet (but even those will dust).

Thanks for your input.
When I said dusting I just don't want to buy a set of pads like I have on my S4 they dust so bad everytime I drive the car I have to clean the wheels.
