single layer head gasket

Default single layer head gasket

how much compression bump will the middle layer oem head gasket give? what about the outer layer?

you dont use the middle layer, when you do a 2 layer you take out the middle layer, when you do a 1 layer you use either the top or bottom layer

try this site, i have heard its not 100% accurate but it will give you an idea

the calculator gives me 11.32 on a bone stock jdm itr specs.

1 layer HG gives 11.85 plus flat valves gives 12.7

not exactly accurate... unless im doing it wrong?

now u wouldnt no that would u my car aint been drove in a month nor has it been to the track and actually yours hasnt either... u no in the end mines faster... or atleast u no i can top my car out before u

i didnt no flat valves bumped u up almost a full point? anyone else wana chime in on this...

Flat valves only bump compression .2-.3 of a point from what I have seen.

haha what?? my has been to the track, mine is making double the hp of yours but yours is faster??? riiiight

anyways enough about that

yeah they do not up the compression a full point
