Default civic EF HELP

I NEED HELP MY EF IS AN AUTOMACTIC BUT I STILL YOU DA EMERGNECY WHEN I PARK BUT FOR A COUPLE WEEKS THE BRAKE LIGHT DOES NOT TURN OFF AND THE BRAKE IS NOT EVEN ON WHAT COULD IT BE HELP A.S.A.P

What?

Did you mean:

When you pull the emergency brake the light doesn't go off? If so, is your emergency brake still on? If not, big deal. Check for shorts in the wires.

If its the e-brake light that stays on, check the little switch down in the console.

Holy hell. Read your post three times now and I still can't understand, you have an auto EF but your emergency light is on?

There is a little peice of plastic on the brake pedal that pushes a button...its probably borken off and the little button wont be pushed when you release the pedal.

Put a small nut and bolt in the hole so it will push the button when the brake pedal is released. Be sure to adjust the jam nuts on the brake pedal so it stops on its own before smashing the little button all the way.

be careful that your brakes dont go out, have them checked because my auto EF did the same right before my brakes went out on me, after i got the brakes fixed it turned off

If I gathered the right information, when you release the e-brake, the 'BRAKE' light in the cluster still stays on, correct? If so, CHECK YOUR ******* BRAKE FLUID DIPSHIT.

check brake fluid, mine stayed on for a while n i checked my brake fluid and it was low, most likely your problem.
