That's fairly average for new ones on ebay.

Ive seen between 900 to 1500 bucks. Never pay above 1500. Not sure, but it would seem that Acura would always be a little more. Do they offer any warranty? And if so, that would be worth the expense to me! Plus, breaking in something new is a good feeling.
Ive heard that Honda trans are fairly weak... dont quote me on that.
I cant tell you if an aftermarket lsd is stronger or better, but the configuration of the Honda lsd is the best for your application. Gear type seems more manageable and less stressful.
Well, either way, i think you made a good choice for a decent price.
Good luck

im sure the new parts purchased seperately would have cost just as much or more. hell, just a new lsd, final drive and synchros seems like it would be about a grand..
plus he would have pay someone else to assemble it AND he wouldnt get a warranty...

on ebay I found a 0 mile one with no warranty for 1650 w/o shipping
But thats Ebay and people get screwed over, so I went to acura and paid $1,904 with 12mo/ 12k. I wanted it to be legit, not a ebay buy.
