weather
i live in MA and the bad weather will soon start. unfortunatley, i dont have a garage for my integra. i have tried to protect it as best i could. i have a car cover over it and a big tarp as a second layer to protect from water. i dont plan on driving it until spring. is there anything that could happen to the car if it sits while it is snowing. i am aware of salt/ sand on the roads, but since i am not driving it untill the spring, is there anything else i should be aware of?
hail...and some people are predicting big snow storms this year here in the north east. unfortunately my dc is a daily driver
you can rent out one of those "rent-a-space" places that is only 1 story high so you cna park it in there.

you still have to start once a week or so just to keep it clean and warm.. you better off rent a storage place and keep it in there, just on the safe side because your car can get rusted up and yea
You want a car cover that is breathable to allow moisture to escape. If you put a tarp over a car cover, you will trap moisture against your car. Moisture will get under the tarp in the form of condensation.

i'd put fuel stabaliser in it. A breathabe cover is also required (like stated above)
Also, it is wise to start it up and let it run for atleast 10-15 mins every 2 weeks at a minimum. I would also check and change the fluids before you store it. I.E. Oil, coolant (make sure its strong enough so it wont freeze.) Also, if you can, drive the car up and down the drive way, try not to let it sit in the same spot all winter.

instead of walking outside in the cold/snow and randomly starting the car just pull you battery out so it doesn't die over winter. then before you start it in spring pull each plug and pour a cap full of oil down each cylider and let it burn off the seals. obviously get a good breathable car cover and some fuel stabilizer as well, and chnage the oil before you park it....i go through this routine EVERY winter but i have a garage to store it...but i still rock the car cover
