Default H22 swap

I have asked different forums about what the best engine to swap into my 90 Accord is and all i've heard is the H22. Now my question is weither or not that is the best engine i can put in and where to find one. Because all i can find is the H22a.

H22 is the easiest to swap and does deliver good amount of power comapre to stock of your car and if you want more then turbo is your next step.

Thank you for all your help today but this is the last post i can do today. So what are the differences between a H22 motor, a H22a, and a JDM H22a. Because if money is not a question i want the best engine in there that i can get. Plus i can't find many places to buy these engines so if you know any please share them with me.
Thanks again

well i think all the h22a are jdms. it depends on the series. like the prelude. h22a4 there is like 8 different h22's out there or more. but h22a 94 jdm is a good fit into ur car.or they even have an older h22a. they produce around the same amount of power. 190-200. well when it was new. so yeah. GL and password jdm might have some.

It all depends what you want to do boost or the swap and financial status, but my best advice would be to get the h22a and some bolt-ons to it. You wil feel the difference.

h-22 and all bolt ons, it will totally satisfy you, but i guess just boosting the f-22 will be a low expense, i guess h-22 would be more working, switching to obd-2 and all. it all depends on the person, if i had the money, h-22 bolts on it is

You have not searched hard enough man! Try cb7tuner.com, you can get all the info you need there for swap questions. I have an H22a in my 92 I got it from Japan Motor Import in Montreal, but there are tons of places to get whatever engine you want. If money is not an issue my suggestion would be to go with the H22 swap simply because it's the easiest one to do, re-build the motor (sleeves, pistons, rods ect ect) invest in a good turbo setup, get a good tuner and BOOST the shiit.

i have a jdm h22 in my accord.... i like it. not as fast as i would have expected... but i need to find out what tranny they used. shift before 8k and i fall out of vtec every time and thats engaging at 4700...off topic** sorry go with the h22 you wont regret it.. make sure you get an lsd tranny too!! i need one. if not boost the f22 they love it. had experience with f22 boost and damn that thing held for a long time with boost levels from 10-18 psi stock block...
