clutch help
my ls/vtec setup is having issues. it has a ls tranny and a act clutch. yesterday im driving home and going from second to third the pedal just went right to the floor. there is very little back pressure and alot of vibration in the pedal. i have bled the lines thoroughly and made sure the slave is operating. no leaks. the slave was making contact with the fork and there is still pressure on the fork, so i dont think it broke. there were never any issues with sliping or anything before this. i baby my setup. i was still able to drive home so the clutch still grabs. this is my daily so any help would be appreciated. thankyou.

i have never heard of a pressure plate going just that fast. i mean no problems and then all of the sudden ? possibly but i just dont think it could have happened that fast. any other suggestions? anyone? i mean it wasnt like i started the car and it was there. i had been driving.

It happens, search some threads and you will see that its not uncommon.

It happens, search some threads and you will see that its not uncommon.

Not really...if everything else checks out like you said, that's pretty much it.
I had a clutch completely fail on me with just a hard 1-2 shift in my old CRX, it happens. :shrugs:
