Default Critique my timeslip!

Hey I went to the track tonight for the first time and ran my 99 gsr.
I took out the back seats/spare tire & jack and dropped the PS.
My only engine mods are a CAI and catback exhaust.
Tell me how these times sound and what I could do to improve.
R/t: .819
60' 2.443
330 6.627
1/8 10.042
MPH 70.23
1000 12.998
1/4 15.492
MPH 90.33

That launch was at 3k btw... oh and this was on my 17" racing hart's

you could go faster, your wheels are probably slowing you down. launch a bit higher and slip the clutch thatll help your 60'. goodluck and keep trying

I'd say not bad for a first time especially. Thats pretty close to stock 1/4 times, so I'd lose the rims, RH may be light but the diameter is what kills. Good Job

nice run, with a better 60ft. like 2.1 to 2.2 you'll drop your times by .3
yeah get rid of the 17's, try to get some stock wheels or even slicks. You'll get into the 14's on a stock motor with just slicks.

V good times..if you could knock a few tenths of your R/T then you'd really be motoring!

If I were to get some smaller wheels, 14 or 15s? Also, how high would you reccommend launching if I slip the clutch?
Thanks,
Nick

What kinda slicks? Mickey Thompson slicks, or would BFGoodrich drag radial slicks work? I'm thinkin, of just leaving every stock, except an intake and aftermarket clutch, and see how I could do.
