Default Cool recent fab job

This was for a local customer it is a replacement for the factory o2 housing on a
88-92 (1st gen) mazda mx6 or 89-93 ford probe turbo
This devides the internal wastegate and adds it in later so that it reduces back pressure and is 2.5" for much greater flow over the stock

Here is the original for comparison

This completely clears ac it is factory bolt on

Good work on it with working around the holes, but they sell lots of these on ebay. I wouldn't trust them like this though. It should flow decent though, assuming they already upgraded the tiny IHI turbo.

He has a garrett center section and compressor side on the turbo I know that
Yah he showed me one that is made in germany that sells for $300 it only uses a 2" pipe as opposed to my 2.5" and the wg goes directly in the side 90 degrees which will create alot of turbulence making it not much better than stock

Thats a nice piece, but the welds look really contaminated. Looks like mild steel, did you not take the scale off the pipes before you welded them? Regardless its a nice piece of fab work and will outflow that stock unit like no tomorrow.

it is mild steel I the welds are not contaminated I just welded from both sides (weld outside first then inside) so it put a fine layer of mill scale back on the outside it is going to be ceramic coated
