K24 engines
K24a8 is the Accord 06-7 engine, a2 is the TSX engine, and A3 is CRV or Element engine. Only thing I could say is you could convert an A8 to the k24a2 by swapping heads to get more hp, but then you'd need to swap TB with an RSX-S because A2's have DBW, Drive by Wire. Another option is to mate a k24a1 block with a k20a2 head to get a 200+hp frankenstein.
I was thinking about this cus people have done conversions such as from f22a1 to a4, etc. So I was wondering if it was possible to do a similar thing to my 07 SE. K24A3's are found in accords for Europe, Japan, and Australia. How hard and how much would it cost if I were to do this?
k24a3 is basically same thing as k24a4 and k24a8, just with 9.6:1 compression as opposed to 9.7:1. And fyi, those accords are Inspire's. Accord Euro R is a USDM TSX.

There are lots of Frankenstein K motors at Honda-Tech, but they don't seem to be in Gen 7 Accords. I have seen them in DC2's, EP3's, DC5's, and even CRV's.
People will put a K20A2 or K20A(*) [Type R] head on a K24 and have a blast.
It's not as simple as just plopping a head on, though. You're not going to be satisfied unless you're looking at computers (KPro?), header, intake, and maybe even cams and throttle bodies.
You can get a lot of information by searching the other forums here for K24 Frankenstein motors. The user Nikos is a resident expert on what you need to do.
It is probably not going to be as cheap as you are thinking.

you need kpro or AEM EMS to tune it, although I don't know that EMS works. cstyleaccord makes a harness for the 7th gen accords by special order and it takes in the range of 3 weeks to complete. The best possible thing is to mate a k24a1 block with a k20a2 head, or you could try a k24a4 (accord) block with a k24a2 head (TSX) and use TSX pistons, etc etc, and you need to replace the TB because of DBW (as I mentioned earlier).
I just went HIN and i saw this guy with the exact same car as mine, color, everything. He got a couple of throphies and I thought this guy would know a thing or two about K24s. And to my disappointment, he didn't even know what K24 is in his car.
