1988 civic hatchback vis cf hood help asap !!!!!!!!!!!
i jsut bought a vix oem carbon fiber hood from mah neighbor who has a 88-91 civic 4 door and when i bolted it on to my hatch, it hangs over the headlights? will this hood not fit on my car, or are 4 door and hatchbacks hoods interchangeable? is there any way i can adjust it to put it on, please if anyone can help me i would really apreciate it

That's funny, I almost certain the civic 88-91 hoods are all the same, if not, I suggest getting a 4 door hing, or drilling the holes bigger or in a different spot on the hing so the hood fits correctly. By the way, how far off is the hood? 1/2 inch, 1 inch??????

i measured it the length width and its the exact same size as mah stock hood, but the whole hood is pushde forward about half an inch so im hoping theres a way i can adjust the hinges?

drilll emmmmmm lol and if that doesnt work buy the same hinges and sell the cf hood and buy one that fits ur car er sumtin...

if i drill the hole then how is the screw going to screw into the hood?, wont it just spin in the hole?

daym how do u checc yo pms i cant find anywhere fucc mah bad im new to this site but anways i measured everythign on the hood and both hoods are measured exact same size onyl difference is the holes in the 4 door hood are liek half an inc to a half inch more towards the back of the hood then the stock ones so if the 4 door hinges are shorter than my stock hinges then it shoudl work i jsut wanta know if the 4 door hinges are shorter so if u could check youre 4 door and see if they are shorter then youre hatch i woudl really apreciate it asap so i could call the guy back and get my money bacc before its to late if i cant get it to work thanks
