Default Slammed my Omni's

Just wondering how low everyone has dropped there cars. I slammed my omni's almost all the way down and now I drag my catalytic converter when I drive. Im running 205/45/16's . Bout to raise it up a little but was just wondering if anyone else has ran into this problem.

u know if u lower ur car 3" or more with the omni suspension their shocks will premature blow and they wont cover it in their warrenty. Anyways, sounds like u have it really low to the ground. I havnt had a problem with them.

When I first had my car lowered on 15's I used to drag my exhaust in roads where it was uneven a little bit. Still do sometimes and Im not that low. PA roads suck though.

There's a point where it's ridiculously low, and I believe you've met it, you couldn't drive that car anywhere without scraping the **** outta the cat

I guess I'm the wierd one here, but I've never liked the look of a "slammed" car.

Yeah phil, I don't particularly like the "slammed " look, but a good drop does help the looks of the car I'll probably be lowering mine a bit more once I get my tires mounted on the ITR's i picked up

I agree with you, which is part of the reason my own car is lowered. I've just never liked the whole slammed on the ground look.

Lowering your car that low not only causes you to scrape and bottom out on every little thing in the road, but the handling of the car is almost always worse than a less dramatic drop.

But to each his own.

BTW, what was the point of this thread? (Serious question.) It just seems like the OP just wanted to let everyone know his car is slammed...

Yeah like the title says I was just wondering if anyone has had the same problem when they slammed there car. Why is it always a big deal when a poet like this goes up? Some people have enough time to waste to complain about something stupid. I guess some people just like to pick and complain about worthless thing.

I am going to raise the car back up like I stated above once the engine/turbo setup and interior is complete. Just slammed it for a photoshoot and to see how it would look. I have always loved how a slammed car looks.

I was neither complaining nor making a big deal about your thread. I asked a serious question because, after all, this is a tech forum and OT threads aren't allowed. If I really wanted to complain, I would not have posted anything at all and just reported the thread.

And isn't it safe to assume that if your 5th gen Accord scrapes everywhere when you're lowered that much, that other 5th gen Accords will scrape just as much when lowered the same amount?

"Borat Voice" Very Nice! Looks great but a little too low to drive daily I would say. Stick with the before setup.

That looks so nice. I love the hood and headlights. I have those same headlights, not installed, I have no idea how they are going to fit yet though being different bulb sizes,, If you wouldnt mind helping me out, send me a pm on how you got the headlight bulbs switched up and stuff.. Not trying to hijack the thread, but either way that looks sickkk. Good luck with that clearance though.
