eg6 suspension set up ideas
hi new to this site figured since im on here everyday might as well join. Any ideas on an ok price for a good suspension set up? its for an eg6 i live where there is hella construction so you know how that goes. Thanks
I live where there is massive construction also but I ride very stiff compared to OTS rates. It just depends what you're going for, track or street setup. A compromise is pretty much your own preference. To save money, i'd just go with a set of wider wheels, stickier tires(low profile, v rated+), and some lowering springs/basic performance shocks or possibly a basic set of full coilovers.
Try lowering springs and some new wheels/tires first. If the ride is too bouncy, try getting a set of shocks(tokico blues). Then if performance doesn't suit your needs, i'd go with a more aggressive spring rate/shock valving setup such as a basic full coilover(tein, ksport, omni etc).

right now i have matrix coilovers and kyb non adjustable shocks they are ok i guess since this is my first and only set up. what you think i am looking more for street performance. I was thinking tokico blues with tiem springs or maybe just my same coilovers. also in the process in getting control arms and a camber kit , rear upper and lower strut.

I'm on Ksports also, 12k/10k, nice but bumpy. I opted for an aggressive custom valve job from ksports(autoline industries). Don't worry about the chinese made crap. They are engineered in china(cheap labor) but manufactured in USA by an arizona manufacturing company. So, essentially, you're buying american made but chinese engineered.

Since you've already got shocks, try a set of eibach prokits or ots ground control coilovers. Should run anywhere from 200-300. If you're running stock wheels, wheels/tires will make a dramatic enhancement in cornering. low profile wide tires with hard sidewalls is what increases cornering from tires/wheels.
