Default light weight

I want to know what the average weight of some street driven crx's are?
Mine at this point is 1900lbs.

edit I should add i'm aprox 2150 with out me just a guess.

you guys should put in what model you have . like hx.dx.si..i know the si is the heaviest dx middle weight and hx lightweight.

i have a dx but never gotten it weighted .

Mine is an Si, Just under 2000 lbs. Somewhat gutted, sunroof internals are taken out, as well as back wiper, AC system, Bumper mounting bar. Also without me in the car.

mines a crx si fully gutted trim pices will be working on sound deadening then the wireharness. possiably cutting out the bracing for the hood. Then probably get into cutting out the extra piceses of useless metal on the inside. Just trying to do all the weight reduction with out spending any money.

oh yea just weighed it its at 1840 without me in it and a full tank.

I got a friend with a DA that got his car weighed at a truck weigh station, cost $9. The LS DA with B20 in it and a good amount of weight reduction weighs around 2300lbs

These weights are hard to believe, but my car weighs 2475+/- lbs. I actually used a scale Not a brochure...

Sometimes those truck scales are way off. They aren't very sensitive because they're made for big ******* trucks.

Probably true so im waiting till i get completly gutted and take it to cape motorsports to weigh it on some corner scales. but the dump will do for now.

88 crx si
fully gutted no interior no tar
1 sparco seat
no wire loom tape or anything extra
no sunroof assembly
no wiper
no heater
no a/c
no defrosters
nothing under the dash at all
no bumper supports
back skeleton cut out
fiberglass hatch with fal window and just fasteners holding it on
and a jdm cluster thats it and a piller pod with oil pressure and water temp
last time i weighed it in it was 1828 with me in it
