Default Tips on Brake Pad Install

Im going to be installing some temporary brake pads on the lude' they are old and need replacing but im getting the hawk plus ones in early to mid january but it cant wait. Anyways ive read about some people using some type of red spray on that they use on the brake pads than they install them. I saw some stuff at an autoparts store- it was more like a red paste and it was brake quiet or something like that. Is this recomended? or am i good with just slapping them on?

you don't exactly need the brake stop squeak paste but your pads wil probably squeal. just put on the stop squeak..it's cheap anyways so it's worth putting it on.
