Door indicator on EG9 Cluster panel
Hai guys..!! I just completed engine swap on my local EK 1.6 SOHC Non-Vtec. My new motor is previoulsy from 1994 EG9(Auto) JDM spec ..of course the legendry B16A Second generation. I did currently using the EG9 stock cluster panel,,with white background and with indipendent door and boot open/close indicator. (Too bad, this is just not working now)... My EK stock cluster w/out that features...i don't why they didn't include this...
My qouestion is..did anyone got the wiring diagram to make this features work on my EK...to be frank it's really enjoy to know which door is not properly shut by looking at yur cluster...
Thanks buddy..

yeah i might try to do it cause i have a teg cluster in my car and i hate how the cluster has it but it doesn't work. I think if you tap the dome light wire it might work. I don't know if you get it working let me know.
Thanks 4 yur reply..
Basically under the dash, one harners consist of 8 wires connected to the LCD display inside the cluster. My first confusion point is why 8 wires..?? The display is only for FR, FL, RR and RL doors and Boot,,it's supposed to be 6 wires. I might be wrong..??? My second confusion is, which wire is belong to which door..?? if I could assure these 2 point, that's it..I just have to run through the wires from each door and boot switch..and I'm pretty sure it will work. How nice aahh..!!!

I've never seen any type of write up on how to do this. But if I were to do it. I'd go to the accord, and look at their 4 doors, and how that's wired up. I'm willing to bet it's probably the same way. Just get the stuff you need out of a 4 door accord. Get an accord helms manual, and look up which wire does what, and you can figure out how it's wired up. then just rewire it. i'm sure there are sensors at each door like you do the for the coupes when you wire up alarms.
not easy, but i'm guessing that's a step in the right direction.

Yes..!! Exactly as what you have on Accord cluster. It's shown all 4 doors and lugage boot indipently. Sorry I don't have a picture with me now.
