The latest issue of Sport Compact Car had the GReddy turbocharged RSX in it.

 

I read that issue of sport compact car. The Greddy rsx ran a 13.7 in the 1/4, but did you see the FAL rsx? it hit a 13.7 as well with only i/e FAL glass and a 50 shot. hhhmm. turbo sounds good but then again so does nos. What to do what to do... maybe both haaha, then I can be F&F. hahaaa j/k. maybe nos for now and wait till I find a good turbo kit.Hmmm.... any suggestions guys?? Im leaning more toward turbo, but lets hear your guys opioions. =]

yeah.. that car ran the same time..but c'mon now.. RSX is a luxurious car..why put in plastic windows n ****.. id rather slap on a turbo kit and start blowing off on people.. i wouldnt pay 25K for a car and start ******* it up by gutting it out and making it a go-kart like some people do with "eg" hatch's.. but yeah.. its your car..

 

There are a few turbo kits that are putting the rsx at around 260 hp to the wheels. Revhard has one. A gain of 60-85 hp for over $4000 is kidna exspensive to me.

 

just one question to the RSX owners,

how many month (aprox)
do you have to work to have a RSX over there?

Avo of Australian fame makes on for the DC5. It bumps power to 300hp (dyno proven) at the flywheel on 7psi boost. AUS$6,500 for the full kit - will scan the images if needed I suppose....

 

I believe Apex-i makes a turbocharger for the RSX........ but its not a complete kit..

Yea.. I'm going to buy an RSX-s this Thursday from the dealer and I'll be driving it home that same night..I'm trying to find a Turbo for it but I can't find one (I don't like GReddy) I think HKS will be coming out with one shortly if they haven't already..

 

i personally think the Greddy kit will be well made and am in fact looking forward to buying one...now the comment somewhere up top about the Greddy RSX only running a 13.7 in the quarter mile...thats true it did only run a 13.7, but what was its trap speed??? i believe it was @108...now if they would just learn how to hook up at the track your are looking at high 12's - low 13's easily...

 

Anybody have an idea about the lifespan of the engine with a kit such as Greddy's? I'm not even sure what boost it is supposed to be running, but I'd be hesitant to put more than 6 or at most 7 in my car (daily driver).

An RSX-S will never hook well unless you get an LSD.
