400whp ... what clutch and flywheel should i use?
toda's good, any chrome-moly flywheel will do. just DONT get alluminum.
as for clutch, i would go with any sprung 6-puck clutch. you got the ****** power going to the wheels man. now you need a bad *** tranny.

Me and my buddy are using clutchmasters on our cars. The one I have on my car is the FX400 clutch and light weight flywheel. It grabs like a $!#$%@!#. My car had a basic greddy kit with intercooler, test pipe, greddy tt exhaust, and ran on 7 psi. It's not the best for daily driving, but like I said, it grabs. Last thing is that it took between 600 and 900 miles for it to stop the initial chatter.
ACT is fine for the B/H/D etc. but for some reason they can't make a K series clutch at all!!! I have seen a tremendous number of pressure plate failures, springs falling out of discs, discs cracking, etc. Take a look at this thread and you will see why not to go w/ ACT. Plus they haven't been warrantying these probs:

Go w/ the Clutchmasters FX400 or Competition Clutch Stage 4. Very minimal chatter, easy to drive, not too grabby and will handle anything under 450HP. Above that and I would definately recommend a twin disc with the torque you will be putting out.

Check out ATS ... very good clutch/flywheel combo. They produce carbon clutches as well for the K-series ... super lightweight and good to hold big power. There is a link on their site telling you which pressure plate to use ... looks like anything above 1000kg for 400+ hp. I've heard good things about their products ...

A customer of mine had issues with the XTSS and it blowing out his clutch master cylinder. I've never seen that issue happen before though with this clutch on any other set-up.

Can you explain why is that? Funny I was about to start a thread about that, which flywheel to get steel or aluminum? and whats the best weight. Speaking about weight, Does anybody knows the weight of the stock flywheel, D16Z6?
