New ride coming-
My 94 Accord is a great car, but not too great in the snow here.
Just bought a 2006 (end of year clearance) Nissan Xterra. It should be a great vehicle for the snow and for jumps into the mountains. I studied the engine/tranney. High awards for design, should be very reliable. I had a 1987 Nissan PU with the 24Z engine- man, that was a great truck.
Now I can stop beating the Accord up in the snow and build the engine/tranney for "fun-time". We move next week- still planning to pull the engine this late winter to build. My daughters are only 12/13, but already want the Accord. Wrenchy
1994 Accord- Being built for a collectors car/ summer fun
2001 Avalon- The freeway cruiser (modified suspension)
2006 Xterra- This will be a kick to modify for snow/ 4WD!
