Default Turbo outlet with a real tight squeeze?

Has anyone ever seen made, or know if its even feasible to bother making something that resembles a mitsubishi O2 housing as a first bend for a turbine exit? I've got a real tight squeeze between the outlet of the turbine and the PS pump, and I'd really like to keep the power steering. The downpipe in there now is 2.25" and even that had to be pie cut to heck to make it fit... the bend is actually so tight that the 5th bolt under the bend is hanging on by a shortened stud and the nut sort of threaded in, because thats all the room there was. Its holding, but I'd like to get a bigger downpipe in there, I was just curious if it may be possible to fab up something out of sheet metal or a combination of sheet metal and bends so that I end up with a flange that points down. I'd like to stick a 2.5 or 3" DP on it, but the space just isn't there. Anyone ever seen this done? or know if some sort of fabbed housing would handle the heat?
Something to this effect:

Because this is the space constraint

Open to other suggestions, or just leave it as is cuz its as good as I'm gonna do.
Thanks.

Use a donut from chassis shop.

The donut doesn't have a radius any tigher than a tight radius bend. I'd need to find something tighter than the diameter of the pipe. I started with a 3" radius, and had to hack it to make it fit. A 2.5 or 3" radius won't help much.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of my "asspipe" (nickname for my downpipe made out of scrap bends and a donut, it's multicolored!), but this is what I did for clearance on a 4G63 in a DSM.

It's pretty straightforward. Obviously you can do the same thing with a 180 or 90 degree bend depending on where you need to go next.

The only thing to watch out for is that you don't cut so far off the normal (perpendicular) that your pipe opening is too tall to fit on the flange.

Check out my engine hoist, too.

I wouldnt have thought to try and cut it off center, but thats not a bad idea. You're right though, I'll end up with an oval if I go off too far. How much might I feasibly get away with?
