pretty sure the engine in your car is a 1.6, unless you already swapped it out. do you want to build it or swapp something else into it? i put a zc dohc in my 89 integra and it pulls pretty good for a 1.6. whats your budget?

I have the same car,and it did have a 1.6 ,but it was a jdm model.Anyway I went with the b16 a1 in my car and am loving it , its a little work, but tranny mounts right up . I would recommend that if you are planning to upgrade Any internals you do it first , it made a world of difference.

He has a G2 Teg guys. Not a first gen. I would say do a rebuild on the stock block and get ahold of a VTEC head for it.

to rebuild to old block what does that involve?
boring it out, new pistons etc?
then a vtec head?
what is the process to rebuild a motor and change it to a vtec?

with the b18a1 what would be better..

vtec head?
or
turbo?
or
both?

whats possible?
whats easier?
whats cheaper?
whats the process?

is it even worth it?
After rebuilding the motor, would i have to get a vtec chip?

What is possible?
Anything with the right amount of money and tuning.
Both will be required, regardless of whether you choose turbo, ls vtec or both.
Start by doing some research here to see which you'd prefer.
And do yourself a favor, spend the money to do it right the first time.

You can try to do it yourself, it really isnt IMPOSSIBLY hard, with the right tools and resources it wont be that difficult.
