Default velocity stack

yea i was wondering if n e one put a velocity stack on their k20 yet? i was thinking about it, but i wanted to see the gains on the velocity stack first, and i was wondering if n e one knew if u run a v. stack would it be better with just a normal short ram, or a cold air? (i have a aem v2 is that good to run with the v stack?).

about 2 months ago i put my homies velocity stack on my stock intake arm (took the air box out) and i felt a some gains but nothing special. the sound on the other hand was amazing. vtec crossover was louder than hell and had a really deep (350z ish) hollow sound in the lower rpm's. the best set up i can think of between the ones you mentioned would be a cai with a comptech filter (has a velosity stack in it). my roomate has that on his da and its a noticable gain vs. the normal cai filter.

It increases the velocity of air going into the intake for the most part.

it a BPI stack. the kit i got uses a K&N filter. i got my kit from DDD(https://honda-tech.com/zero...31358) he said when he dynoed his car there was no differance with or with out the fiter. the filter is pretty big.
