Reverse _-_-_-_-_- being a bad boy

Reverse _-_-_-_-_- being a bad boy
Ok today i need to turn around quick so i pull in a steep drive way i go up it and put into reverse by this time i am drifting back probally about 1/2 MPH and it sounds like it is grinding when i try to put it in Reverse. this had happend before. it feels like shifting into 2nd from 1st when the engine is real cold. anyone else getting this problem? my old stang never did that before

car should be fully stopped before you put it in any gear.
