Default Is it possible to put disc brakes on a 1985 CRX SI ?

I just got me a 1985 1st gen CRX SI. I would like to put disc brakes on the rear if possible. It has this crazy old school axle if you did not already know. If someone could help me out in finding if it is possible, even with some metal fab if need be, it really would be excellent and most appreciated!! Any help is greatly appreciated cause there is not that much information on 1st gen stuff.

I would think that it won't be a direct swap like the 88-91 you might check http://www.fastbrakes.com

the whole rear suspension (including disk brakes) is a direct swap with first gen tegs.

From http://www.redpepperracing.com

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Yes, but you will need to graft the rear axle from a 1st Gen Integra onto your car to make it happen. Another alternative is to replace the iron rear drums with aluminum drums from the HF model. This saves weight and works just as well as the Integra rear disks. You will have to change the rear brake backing plate to a HF plate to make the aluminum drums fit, but that is a relatively easy job.</TD></TR></TABLE>
