I need spec's on how to cut b-series shift linkage
It depends on what mount kit you are using!
Here is a link showing how I did it;

I have a 91 si with b-series in it but i need to cut the shift linkage just like the jdm si-r,so it bolt up clean.
i had the same problem , quickest thing to do is cut both bars then roughly hook them up then now ur will have a gap get someone to hold the shifter in the car stright then messure the gap. once u get that messurement get a peice of metal o round pipe works best to slid over the shift bars once u get the position spot weld it so u dun lose the proper length take out the shift bars and give it a good weld.
Thats wat i did and never had a problem with it still going on strong.. hope that helps u out if u dun wanna spend the buck to get the ones made for ur car ....

if you can weld why not? its not hard
if you can weld why not? its not hard
1. Cut B series linkages in half
2. Mount both end to the tranny, the others to the car.
3. Measure, cut again and weld together.
Or
Spend 100$ and get a premade shiftlinkage that isn't haggard as ****, like I did.

lol. If you know what you're doing, a cut and welded DA linkage is not 'haggard'. For a long time, most of those "premade" shiftlinkages were just cut and welded by someone else, and marked up $80.
