S2000 $5000 back of invoice??? whats the catch please help
I own a honda si, was looking at buying a s2000 new from baytownhonda.net , there $5000 back of invoice on the car?? payments came to 149.00 a month ... I havent signed the paperwork yet, whats the catch here?
A sure way to get duped is to only look at what your monthly payments will be.
First off, is this a lease? If not, are you trading in your Si? How much are you getting for it? How much for the S2000? Ask them what the OTD price is for the S2000, NOT what the sales price is. Some of those BS fees (weather-proofing, undercarriage coating, etc.) gets added on w/o the buyer even knowing it.

i sold cars for 4 yrs so any ?s i can help you, def look at the price they are selling you the car for and not the payments or you will get ripped. I have seen 06s selling for around invoice in the low 30g range. Don't get ripped on the paint sealant either, its just honda wax that they charge you a arm leg and a nut for.
