I just bought a 04' S2000 a few weeks ago and a few times the check engine light will come on then after a few days comes off. This has happened twice in the span of a 3 weeks. It started happening after the first time I had to refill since leaving the dealership. I've closed the gas cap to the point where it clicks more than 3 times. Is this normal among AP2s?

 

try resetting the ecu by unplugging the battery.....

then see if it comes back again...

p.s dont forget you will need punch in the radio code after you have done this....

meaning, make sure you have the radio code.....
