Should I change wires and plugs before I tune or does it matter?
ATM my BB6 has intake(aem cai) and exhaust(greddy Evo2) engine wise
I have since decided I'm going turbo with this car as well so I found a great deal on a Hondata S300 in a p28
I plan on using the Hondata to tune my car atm for what I have until I can save for my turbo set up(planning a 62-1 build)
But as it seems it's time to change out my plugs and wires question is will this effect the tune? I'll probably just be getting stock replacements for both as I have never seen a gains from Hotwirez as for plugs I think I'm going to get NGK stock replacements.
Should I do this before I tune or will it not effect it at all?
Also if you know of any good tuners in the southern california area for H22's feel free to leave info on how to contact them, planning to get tuned before the new year. One of the main reason I'm doing this is to truely show the power of a well tuned car so I'll have at least graphs of before and after, but I'll try and get some video

OEM wires are perfectly fine
And as far as plugs go, since you were untuned and running on the rich side I would hope I would say it might be a good idea to get brand new ones and put them on right before you hit the dyno. They probably got pretty shitted up from running real rich.

i get new plugs before hopping on the dyno. Didnt really need to change the wires cuz they were still fairly new. Change your oil and get new spark plugs. you could also change your fuel filter, cap and rotor
all really cheap.
all really cheap.
hmm maybe I should just do a whole tune up then before I get it tuned?
it is getting close to 100K anyway might as well
