Default A-holes on the 405

well on my way home from school (in the cager) on the 405, like always it ways bumper to bumper traffic. And like always people on motorcycles will cut lanes between the fourth lane and the fifth/carpool lane. Well a chp officer on a bike was cutting through traffic, i noticed since i usually watch out in my rear view and right side mirrors for bikes that share lanes with me and i move over to the side. The guy infront of me for some dumbass reason moves to the right almost hitting the chp officer, good thing he stopped on time, almost dropping his bike. So the cop tries to pass him again and the ****** just doesnt want to move out of the way like an *******, the cop again almost falls over with the bike. So the cop turns his siren on and the expletive tard moves over and the cops tells him something from the passenger side window.

Then the cop goes on his way, about a car length later another idiot moves over to the right, this time it nicked the bike. I know it nicked the bike cause i heard that it hit (and i was three cars back) plus i saw him almost eat it (cars in front of me didnt have tinted windows) he was lucky though that there wasnt a car to his right at the time cause he actually almost fell off, but he saved it by pushing back the bike with his right leg. So after getting everything together he pulled that dumbass over, i dont really know what happened after that.

man, there was a lot of idiots and ******* out on the freeway. For some reason i feel like these people seriously want to hurt people on motorcycles on purpose.

I followed a motorcycle cop the other day on the 5 south through Anaheim past the stadium. That cop had a few close calls too.

motorcycles + freeway = GUARENTEED death

Between crosswinds, drafts from other cars, and the fact that if u fall off you are gonna get squished, expletive that **** and thats why I always stay off the freeways. The one time I decided to get on the freeway, some bitch decides to run a redlight as im getting on the onramp so I lay my bike down and she caught on fire and blew up Barely got away from that one

Are you kidding?

Getting to the freeway is usually hairier than being on it. Especially during the morning and evening rush hours.

Shee-it, I only made it for two months before my first game of bumper-truck.

I was on the 405 today and got mirror-bitch-slapped by two bikes today. *sigh*

Seems like everyday is a**hole day on socal freeways but then there are those people that are really cool and get out of the way. I commute 75 miles/day and have been for 5 months now. Yesterday I was almost taken out by a guy in a F150 that wanted out of the carpool lane as I was next to him.

I was able to swirve to the right just as he realized I was next to him, so he he didnt commit to the lane change over the double yellow. Hopefully I never get taken out, but shaving 1-2 hours off my daily commute is worth the risk...

Ride safe out there...

I used to think the same way. Now, not so much.

May your guardian angel keep you safe out there.

California freeways just suck *** in general...............it almost seems like we have to ride hard just to stay out of trouble...............if anything, i hate merging onto other freeways because no one wants to let u in at all or just cuts in front of you...........

When I'm commuting in my car I see those guys that purposely block riders lane splitting... for fun I try to get in front of them and spray them with my windshield washer fluid.

Risking other people peoples lives... just because they are stuck in slow traffic and want everybody else to be as miserable as they are. Yeah. Healthy mentality there.

i've yet to experience any REAL ******* behavior on the freeways, i feel like i'm missing out.

there's some inattentiveness, but no real intentional malicious **** on my commute.

i ride the 60/605/10 alot, but it's not so bad. surprisingly.

well the 10 is shitty, but it's cuz driving/riding/walking through alhambra/mp/san gabriel sucks for obvious reasons

As bad as the 405 is, as I'm looking at it right now about 50 feet from my house, the 110/710/101 are worse. The 110/710, coming from the harbor seems like theres more 18 wheelers than cars. And the 101 is jammed more than any other.

Another thing I've noticed is, the rush hour crowd drives differently than the off hour drivers. And when the holiday season comes around, drivers get more aggresive of course. And when the economy is down, watch out because theres some angry folk out.
