good way to get paint scuff off car?
some idiot parked near me at work and scuffed my passenger's side door with white paint, its not bad but need a good buffing compound as I will be removing it by hand.

Get some Meguiars Scratch-X and give that a try. It's a mild polishing compound and will probably take several passes to make much difference, but you'd have a hard time damaging the paint with it.
I've used scratch -X and personally i think it sucks... try a light cutting compound and if that doesnt work use a higher intesity cut ...
heres the mild compound (tan bottle) that works best when applied w/ a buffer...
