Default H22 PISTONS IN AN H23?

Would h22 pistons work in an h23 motor. If so will i have to resleeve it? What other parts are interchangeable between the h22 and h23? Any info will be helpful.

I'm planning on installing type-s pistons in my h23 in combination with crower stage 2 camshafts. Is there anyway to calculate if these two will work together without having to buy the parts and experiment.

Check out the FAQ, especially the threads with all the h23 and h22 and f series internal info

Yes, h22 pistons will work with your h23 block. You have to use the h23 crank and rods. Here is some further reading for you to do

Preciate that. Some of that info I couldn't find anywhere. But the compression numbers doesn't match. It should bump me up to about 12:1 compression with these pistons. And I still have to find out how to calculate how far down the valves will drop with Crower Stage 2 cams installed.
