So the brake lights stay on all the time the only way to make them go off is to disconnect them at the back in the trunk. WOuld this be due to a relay or the brake switch on the pedal assembly? anyone have this problem b4?
thanks!

i will go and look at the brake light switch in a minute. But since i just bought the car i havent had much time to check it out. Gimme 10 minutes ill let you know if i see a problem with the brake switch.
sometimes it can be using an improper bulb in the socket
(ex.: a bulb with one lead contact in a socket that has two lead contacts)
other times still it can be that the fillaments are touching in a dual fillament bulb causing the electrical current to not complete the circuit, but instead to flow back from where it came
(ex.: your gauge cluster and parking lights [1st click on the light switch] coming on when pressing the brakes)
