the car seems like it boggs down when it hits vtec and the tach goes crazy what do you guys think it could be or well it messes up around 5k rpms not sure were it is supposed to hit totaled my ls teg monday and buying this one so dont have much knowledge bout vtec

its 3000 thats it it can be fixed just dont know what it needs heard it only need distributor

 

It could be a lot of things, you need to check it out before you buy it.

 

You would be better off finding out what it is before you buy it. Those type of problems can be hard to pinpoint. Is the check engine light on?

I wouldn't rush into buying it with that problem. Are you buying from a dealer or private seller? You can buy a properly working GSR for about the same or a little more, depending on mileage and year if you search a little bit longer.

 

mine was doing that .. does it do it when you press on the gas gently or just when you gas it hard .. mine was only when i gas it hard .. changed spark plugs wires dist cap and rotor and msd blaster coil .. runs like a top now
