Default gauge face installation

I did a search and didn't come up with much. I was wondering if anyone here has had experience or know about doing this on a 4th gen. Do the needles just pull off or is there a clip behind them? Do the needles need to go back in the same place? Thanks for any input.

ok, on my 92 cord I installed mine myself. The first time I tried to pull the needle out, it broke. So after I went to the junk yard and bought a whole new cluster , I tried again. This time I just very carefully slid them around the needles. Worked like a charm, at least for me. Now I don't know if the is a better way or not. haven't done any since then. hope this helps, if not sorry.

DO NOT REMOVE THE NEEDLES, it will ruin your guages, slide the guage over the needle, its tricky, but completely possible, just be patient

this means the holes in the gauge face will have to be the exact same size as the base of the needle, correct? I'll try it this way and see how it goes. Thanks!
