Default Oil feed line busted, i have a question

Yeah i used vaccumm line for the oil feed line to test my turbo install. when it got to operating temp the line burst from too much pressure, so i got me a stainless line kit ordered

but was that the reason it busted? or could it have meant too much pressure in the system?

if not am i good with just getting a stainless oil feed line?
