transmission and axles
i have a b16 in a hatch and i need a new transmission.
but my question is:
i have the hasport axles and they say they are specific for the tranny because of the length of the driverside axle needs to be a little longer.
so do i have to find another y1 or will a s1 ys1 be the same?

i'm not running the hasport axles. i'm running the ef8 axles and intermediate shaft. the 90-93 us axle is an 1 1/2" to longer then the jdm ones. so if i'm guessing if you use the same intermediate shaft with those trannys then you should be all good with the length of the axles. maybe someone using hasports would be a little more help
