Default rear spoiler

Is there a way for me to take off my stock gsr spoiler without buying a new trunk? Like is there a way for me to plug the holes in the trunk... thnx

You could go to a body shop and have the holes welded shut and get the hatch repainted.

Also, i think i remember some people mentioning that you could plug the holes shut, possibly with a cap off the firewall or strut tower.

i bought a set of generic plugs from advance auto and i got them to fit the holes.

What did you do about the wires for the brake light, just cut them or what? Is there a way to unplug them so you can hook it back up later?

you can just unclip the harness.

i don't have any lowes around my house, and that thread is over 3 years old, so i am not sure how reliable it is. but if someone lives by a lowes and wants to check it out, that would be cool!

just go to adcance auto or autozone, and there are packs of random sized plugs. some will fit, some will not. you will have some extra plugs from the pack. i dont know the hole sizes, and it didnt matter. its like a miscellaneous set. just go look. theyre not expensive, so you have room for experimentation.

it is tucked away in the hole on the passenger side. it is kind of hard to get to. you could always take the plastic piece off from the inside of the hatch to get to it a little easier.
