just a little problem with the swap ive got a eg6 with a b18c6 (uk itr motor) and as you probably know there isnt a vacume on the throttle body on the itr motor and there is on the b16a2, i went and removed the engine from the itr my self and i noticed this when i took it out so i took the purge tank with me and fitted it to my car as it didnt have the vacume coming out of it for the throttle body.Out ot this tank there is one that goes to a sensor that is mounted on the firewall one that goes to a metal pipe on the firewall and one that goes underneath the car to the fuel tank on this pipe there is a t piece and of this there is another tube that on the itr clicks into the fuel filter housing so i took his fuel filter housing and fitted it and clicked that tube to the fuel filter housing as it was on the itr .

You start the car from cold, it idles at 1400 as it should but it is really loud under the engine bay and in the fuel tank sounds like a vacume is left or somet the noise is coming out of this pipe on the fuel filter housing

the car then warms up to about 1/3 temp gauge and then cuts out

when you strat it all of the noise has gone and it runs smooth

it then warms up to operating temp and idles 700-850 bouncing slowly between the two


those two things may not be connected is there any way i can bring the idle up to 900rpm?

there is no cels car drives fine
