roller rocker setup
Crane makes some, but I don't know how good they are.

I have not seen any dyno numbers on this stuff either.

The different size arcs change the cam opening and closing dynamic but the actual rocker ratio is set by the manufacturer of the rocker. I don't think there would be room to fit "considerably bigger" cam lobes in a b series head.

On the B series Vtec heads the rocker manufacturer can't change the ratio much since the rocker geometry is dictated by the location of the rocker shaft and the location of the cam which are both fixed on these heads.
Any roller with an arc size close to the size of the stock swipe pad would leave no room for a cam.
And you're right an aggressive roller cam that could make up for the smaller arc of a roller would most likely hit the cam plates.

yes ferrea makes them, but i believe it does away with vtec function,
then again i might just be too drunk to know right know........i mean now.

do you think a skunk2 stage 2 cam would work well w/ this setup?
i checked crane site, and they are not available yet?!? haven't they been out for awhile?

You guys have to realize that the lobes on a roller cam have to be much fatter. Most aggressive roller cams look like they have square lobes.
Stock style cams have assymetrical profiles with a flat side and a arc side to properly interact with the arc on the swipe pad of the rocker.
