First off, it sounds great. Just what I wanted, not stock and not obxinous (sp). 1st and 2nd gear sound great, then it mellows down. WOT isnt loud, as you can tell I am excited. Comments/Suggestions
The only complaint I have is that it hangs low and I am worried about scraping. Install went smoothly for once, no problems.

Naw, doesnt whine. Sounds perfect, gets loud when it has to. Makes me feel guilty for saying I want to get a new car lol. I believe the 6th gen SP is much louder. For my automatic, it sounds real good. I never had so much fun starting up a car

it really doesnt look that low to me except where the pipe goes to clear the rear suspension component. and from the looks of it it has to be low there as there doesnt look to be another place to run the pipe without putting in some major bends.
my HKS exhaust I had on my civic got lower around that same area but it was ok due to the fact it is right there by the wheels. the place I had problems at was where the resonator was. That part always dragged on speedbumps.

Thanks, but the Evo was specially designed for lowered cars. It isnt the muffler so much I am worried about scraping, it's the piping.
BTW is there anything I can do to make that piping raise up a little? I read of something about a skip plate? Anyone know?

My friend got sheet metal and bolted it where the exhast man. connects to the Cat. so when he goes over speed bump or dips it will just scrap the plate. Only thing that you need to do is bolt (WELD) the sheet metal on TIGHT! or it will rattle like a mother...
yeah, dude...it'll just "scrape the plate". Then you'll have a rally car with "horsepower for the turns." And a boiled potato out back.
