i have B20/vtec setup and the sandwich plate (golden eagle) that screws on to the block is leaking between the block and plate. has anyone had this problem? the gasket is fine, and its pretty tight, cause the instructions say not to tighten too much so you dont damage block or the the plate. I'm thinking I'm gonna put some gasket maker around it, or if some one has another option, let me know

 

are you sure the oil is not comeing from the headgasket, then dripping down around the sandwich plate?

 

me and my buddy were looking and waiting till it started leaking it was not coming from the head gasket, thanks though.

 

anybody some suggestions or have heard of this situation before?
