Default Falken Azenis Break-In Period

I've read through several threads and other online pages and I keep getting mixed results. I'll be mounting the 615's later today at 4pm, and I was wondering how I am to properly break them in.

Thank you, in advance

Theres not really a "break in" on them other than driving them to get the tires to rid them of the release agent from the factory. If you want to call that a break in, be my guest.
It's said that 500 miles will make sure all of the release agent is gone but I've noticed every tire I've had it's much earlier than that.

Thank you! Recently a friend of mine mounted Falken Ziex's on his car and he decided to push a corner a tad bit. He spun out.

I guess I'll leave it up to feel and patience

I've driven on both Azenis and Ziex tires...the Ziex are crap for handling compared to the Azenis.

The Ziex all-season tires are crap for handling compared to just about any summer tire. The fact that the Azenis stick better than just about any other summer tire is also true (IMHO) but quite a separate issue.

It's like saying that a Chevy Cobalt is crap for handling compared to a Corvette C6 Z06...

I bet you the Ziex could kick the crap out of the Azenis in the snow though....

I "broke in" mine on the track. Literally, the girlfriend picked them up for me the night before (Yay, Slipstreams and Azenis as a present), mounted and balanced, and I swapped them on to the car after I got there. They were definately a bit slippery for the first session. However, they still had much more grip than the stock Michelin tires, so you have nothing to worry about on the street if you don't drive like a lunatic.

Ok, give me an Impreza on full tread Azenis and you can bring your Civic on Ziex, and we'll test that theory. Oh wait, I live in LA and snow is this mythical thing you see on TV.
