I no longer have the climate control in the car and I would like to install some sort of block off plate similar to the radio ones. Does anyone have any idea where I can pick one up at? Or have any idea how I can make one? I will most likely be mounting a few gauges and switches in the place of it so it needs to be very sturdy.
Any ideas?

I make a plate that actually fits 3 gauges right where the climate control goes. My picture hosting site is down but once it comes up I will post it up for you. It fits 3 2-1/16" gauges

Ya, ive had that lame *** radio in there for a while... Its a radio blockoff in the climate control area... All you do is go to the junkyard and get the radio bezzel, cut the lower portion off, and mount the bezel so you can pop in the factory honda piece.

Yeah it looks great. you could probably use the radio bezel from a EF hatch too, not cut it up since they are a smaller piece. Save the CRX dashes, LOL!

Turn the engine off. My car has no heat.
My car never overheats either. If it starts to get hot the fan comes on.

i made one for my eh. the same principles can be applied to your ef.
Measure the dimensions.
Go to Ace (or whatev) and get some double-strength plexiglass cut to the specs (plexi is cheat as hell). get it just a little too big. like a 1/16th of an inch.
Buy a can of flat-black spray paint also.
Round the corners with a file or whatever (i used my bench grinder). B/c its a touch too big you'll have enough room to round the corners and when you slide it into place, it should fit w/o any securing needed.
Clean the glass extremely well, any dust or finger-prints screws it up.
Flat-black the back side of the plexi.
Let dry, and done.
(buy a hole-saw if you plan to add gauges too)
like $5 tops. and it looks damn-near stock.

Looks nice. Might get one myself because my climate control is broken and its doesn't throw cold or hot so pointless to have it their and just might as well block it off.
