Default DC2R VS FGSi

whats good fellas-
first of all excuse my stupidity to people who can link me to a related thread.
just swingin by to get some answers off FG heads.
aite so we got 98+ USDM spec ITR vs 06+ civic Si (BOTH STOCK)
who gets the last laugh? performance wise.
NOT tryna hear about "warranty, MPG, looks, price"
i understand both have similar specs (almost 200HP, LSD, etc)
I KNOW what both engines are capable of.
just tryna get some thoughts crossed-over.
appreciate all the help

I think the type r wins by a hair due to the throttle vable compared to our dbw but with a really good driver i think they are equal.

ITR and FG2 are two totally different vehicles.

The ITR was designed strictly with performance in mind, where as the FG2 was designed as a "safe" economical sporty compact vehicle.

More airbags.. heavier, etc etc

then you factor in the K to B series , DBW technology...TOTALLY different chassis' etc etc

Apples & oranges.

Well if that was the decision
you'd have to factory in the following

almost 8 or 6yrs old (depending on the R)
high theft/insurance rates
No warranty

i own both, but my R is not stock, so i couldnt say if the R is faster stock but the facts would lead me to believe it is. they make similar HP, R is lighter, they both have a diff.

asfar as handling the R hands down feels better,

I'd be driving a minty fresh ITR right now if it hadnt sold the day before I got the loan. I could have found a different one but honestly I couldnt complain with the creature comforts, saftey, styling, transmission and K20 in the FG.

Like mike said, two different style cars... **** the ITR doesnt even have sound deading material in it... made for RACING basically whereas the FG2 is geared more towards a daily driver thats 'sporty'.

exactly what my setup is...

the R is fun daily, the noise never bothered me, what bothered me was the fact that people might try to steal it...
